What you’ll do
- User Experience Strategy: Develop and execute user experience strategies for our financial services products, considering user research, market analysis, and business requirements.
- User Research: Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points, and leverage those insights to inform the design process.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specifications to effectively communicate design concepts, interactions, and flows.
- Information Architecture: Develop information architecture and site maps to ensure intuitive navigation and content organization for both web and app interfaces.
- Interaction Design: Design and refine user interactions, micro-interactions, and interface animations to enhance usability and delight users.
- Visual Design: Collaborate with the visual design team to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing user interface design that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Design Guidelines: Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency across multiple platforms and products.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iterate designs.
- Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design, particularly in the financial services sector.What we’re looking for
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a UX designer, with a focus on designing apps and web interfaces for financial services or similar industries.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, showcasing previous work on mobile apps and web projects.
- UX Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard UX design tools such as, Figma, Adobe XD, Maze or similar tools for wireframing, prototyping, and design.
- User Research: Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and applying insights to inform design decisions.
- Information Architecture: Strong skills in creating information architecture, site maps, and navigation structures for complex web and app interfaces.
- Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and present design concepts to stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and elegant user experiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Financial Services Knowledge: Familiarity with financial services products, industry regulations, and compliance considerations is a plus.
